Enjoy a couple of entertaining hours in the comfort of a luxury passenger van before you walk the shore of the most celebrated river in the west, the mighty Colorado. Feel its relentless power and enjoy the mile high canyon walls where you will spend the day. Before you know it, you're descending into the depths of the deepest canyon in the world with the famous Hualapai River-Runners of the local Native American population as your hosts and guides. Your destination; Diamond Creek. Then on to the great Colorado River where oftentimes guests spot Big Horn Sheep, Wild Mustangs, or Burros along the way.
Your Hualapai guide will greet you at the river, where your whitewater adventure begins. The river is master here, it dictates how fast you go, and how white the water actually is. It will carry you along the same watery roller coaster that the famous Powell expedition traveled a century before. Later you will beach the raft and explore hidden coves and waterfalls on foot. The Hualapai's will fix a buffet style lunch for you down deep in the canyon where few have ever had the opportunity to dine. After crashing through major rapids in a 35 mile run, you will be picked up in a helicopter and air-lifted to the west rim. At the "Rim" you will be able to dry off before making your journey back to Las Vegas. This whitewater experience will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
